Space-Build Ltd, based in West Yorkshire was founded in 1996, by experienced woodworking machinery engineer, Steve Bateman. Space-Build Ltd still remains a family-run business, with his Son and Daughter leading with the same ambition and passion, to take the company forward in its future endeavours.
We cater for a range of commercial business sectors, such as; hotel bedroom furniture, office interiors, student accommodation, educational cabinets, bespoke commercial works; breakout rooms, welfare facilities and chemists.
We also specialize in bespoke cabinetry for any room in your home, shop fitting furniture and exhibition stands.

Our aim is to produce the best possible finished product to our highest standards. We use the best quality materials, available from reputable suppliers in the UK, keeping our standards high and the carbon footprint low. Our main raw materials consist of Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) and Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF). We maintain a policy of using raw materials from sustainable forestry, and FSC Certified Forests, and we use formaldehyde-free boards where possible.
We use local suppliers, to sustain a low carbon footprint and to aid the local growth in our sector. We also recycle the waste raw materials back to Egger, so they can be used again to make a new sheet of MFC.
At Space-Build, we have a vast understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry. We have evolved in machinery throughout the years, but we have also conserved and maintained our first ever CNC machine, a Biesse Rover 1332 which still aids with production today. On our main production line, we are running brand new, up-to-date NEC Controlled BIESSE machinery, to ensure the best quality finish to all our products. We have had many satisfied customers throughout the years, in which we have acquired and retained business.
Our expertise as manufacturers of contract furniture has benefitted a vast number of sectors, all over the UK and Scotland. Our company has achieved success throughout the years, as we have remained versatile and ensured customer satisfaction at the end of every project. Every panel made in our factory, based in Yorkshire, has been quality checked by each department, ensuring a high-quality finished product.
